So long 2013!

Technically it isn’t officially a new year until midnight tonight but hopefully by then I’ll be either passed out in a drunken stupper or more realistically asleep on the couch. It’s getting more and more difficult for my older self to stay up and watch the 11:00pm news let alone make it all the way to midnight so my wife and I like to celebrate with everyone on the East coast. Yeah, it’s pretty sad when compared to the days of yesteryear but those days of getting reckless and wild long passed me by.

About 20 miles from my house some 400,000 people will be gathered along the Las Vegas Strip to bring in the New Year. So when you’re watching the telecast tonight (that is if you’re a home dweller like me) and you see all that chaos happening in the streets below you might wonder… “I wonder if Mathew from The Breakfast Ball is down there?” let me assure with a resounding HELL NO! Those people are freaking nuts!!

As much as I love large crowds(the people watching is just amazing) there is no way I’m venturing back down to the Strip for another New Years. The influx of individuals from the People Republic of California is just too much for me to take. It’s bad enough they have all infected my city with their left-wing views and their….

ummmmm oops. That’s a topic for some other blog, certainly not this “GOLF” blog!! ha ha Sorry, my feathers tend to get a little ruffled every now and then!
