Spanish Trail Country Club – Las Vegas, Nevada 01/13/2013 – Canyon & Lakes
I’m starting to get a rush from playing in some pretty silly conditions. First, it was the near 120° temps out at Death Valley last year and now I went out and played in near freezing temps (who am I kidding, it was FREEZING) out at Spanish Trail Country Club this past Sunday. What’s in store for me next?
Spanish Trail Country Club is one of the older courses in town. Not like 1960’s old but it’s getting there. Back in the day, Spanish Trail used to be the home to many of the local celebrities. From what I’ve been told though, most of them jumped ship when Southern Highlands opened up. The course is a fun layout though and has some great holes. The 2nd and 3rd holes are two of the more scenic and challenging ones and will test you. Especially the par 3 3rd. A big carry over a deep water hazard to a very shallow green forces you to choose wisely off the tee.
Visit the Spanish Trail Country Club website for more information about this course.
Enjoy the photos!

Thanks for taking the time to look through the pics! Next time you’re in town we’ll have to certainly tee it up.

Thanks for sharing! I haven’t played here, but I am due for a trip to Las Vegas. Maybe I will tee it up here the next time I am in Sin City!
