Hello, all! My name is Tyler Clerkin, and I am from southern Indiana. I have been playing golf for the last 12 years and have fallen in love with the game from the moment I picked up a club.
I graduated from high school in 2014 and went on to college to obtain a degree in journalism. During my time in college, I wrote about music, NBA basketball, and covered general news for my school newspaper. I’ve been published many times through various publications and have developed a love for writing.
I decided to reach out to Mathew at The Breakfast Ball to see if he’d be interested in any help with his site, and he has given me the opportunity to combine my love for writing with my passion for golf.
I am currently a 5 handicap and have been striving to get better each and every year. Like most people, Tiger Woods was the one who inspired me to play golf, but my own love for the game is what inspires me to keep playing.
I am engaged to my beautiful fiancé Megan Gasper and we are set to get married on 10/10/2020. We have a miniature golden doodle named Loki, who we are currently trying to get to become a golf pup.
