Nestled deep in the hills, or just a few short miles from the highway, whichever you prefer, close to the little golf Mecca that is Mesquite lies one of the country’s more unique golf destinations, Wolf Creek.
It’s a golf course that will have you standing on the tee box thinking “What the F@#$?” more than any other course on the planet, that I can guarantee. The visual stimuli are relentless and after ever curve of the cart path, which there are many, comes another reason to whip out ye olde cell phone or point and shoot and grab some pics of what will be an unforgettable round of golf.

The course was a bit too much for me. Some Par 3’s that were just off the charts ridiculous and a few of the other holes that I had no business even attempting the shots I did. But I honestly believe the people behind Wolf Creek know that when you leave and tell your buddies back home all about it, the words and phrases like,

Unlike anything, I’ve ever seen.

“Unlike anything, I’ve ever seen.” or “It was visually spectacular” is exactly what they were hoping for and honestly is why I ventured the hour and twenty minutes north to play.

So without going into too much detail about my round and how bad I played, here is the gallery of photos that took from this past Sunday. A quick disclaimer; the photo seriously does no justice to just how dramatic the elevation changes are and just how awesome the scenery is. Hopefully, you enjoy the photos and can see the sense of beauty that has been carved out of the desert hillside in majestic fashion. OK, here’s the pics!

Next, up I’ll have the gallery of the unforgettable Shadow Creek from our round on Monday until then enjoy Wolf Creek!

What was the conditioning at Wolf like after all their problems?

Certainly looks in beautiful condition in the photos!

The course was in great shape. The greens were a little slow but overall it was fantastic.
