“Yoo Hoo, I’ll make ya famous.”

So I had my first real great piece of publicity in regards to The Death Valley Challenge. The ad agency for my employer came to me with a suggestion to run an ad in our local paper The Review Journal. My wife had came up with the idea about a week before hand but I just wasn’t able to find the time to sit down an write out a letter to the RJ about the event. So, needless to say, when the folks at Q ad/pr came to me with the opportunity I jumped at it!

I can’t ever remember being in the paper so this was an exciting day for me. Not just me though. Anyway I can get the word out to the public about the event is a plus in my mind and the article has brought a little bit more attention to what we are trying to do. Which is always good.  Here’s a photo of the article.

Here is a link to in on the Review Journal site:

I’ll take every bit of publicity I can get for the event. There is another story that’s in the works for my home town paper The Henderson Press. I’ll be sure to have that linked on here as well. Stay tuned for that one.

In the mean time head on over to the donation site and make a contribution! THANK YOU!!
